This track is written about my best friend from high school. When I returned from Hawaii to Medford, he out of nowhere kind of ditched me as a friend. We work at the same place so I see him often, and he acts like everything is cool. I have a feeling the reason he doesn't want to be my friend any more is that he got into partying and other stuff and thinks that I'd be mad at him or judge him. I wouldn't do either, but this song is a reminder to him that he needs to get on track with the Lord. I just want my old friend back, and I want him to enter the kingdom of Heaven.
lyrics
You're living life alone
or so I've ascertained
I need strength within my bones
to cut away the pain
I've tried many times before
to bring you into light
but I'm left sighing on the floor
and crying through the night
It's easy to give up
and difficult to breathe anymore
but your sins have blow away
hold no regret because they're forgotten
But I will not give up
I'll fight until I die in this war
but your ways can't stay the same
so come forget because they're forgotten
Yeah, it's like
rushing water flowing out of my lungs
it's living water in a loaded gun
it's so much more than imagined by inferior minds
it's larger than the concept of the table of time
It's powerful
and it is living and breathing
it's more important than my eating and drinking
I'm coming at you with a heart full of love
this love came from a place that is so far above
but you, you won't listen to a word that I say
but for you, you got me praying for your soul every day
I'm saying
Father forgive him he does not know his wrong
Jesus Christ please save him from his spiritual bonds
Yes, it is a struggle but we aint gonna fail
we are victorious; the gates of hell won't prevail
It's easy to give up
and difficult to breathe anymore
but your sins have blow away
hold no regret because they're forgotten
But I will not give up
I'll fight until I die in this war
but your ways can't stay the same
so come forget because they're forgotten
I've had about enough
it's harder now to dream than before
and I wish things hadn't changed
but I guess that's life 'cause they're forgotten
And the future may be tough
and I'll pray until my knees break the floor
but I just can't play this game
so remember me when you're forgotten
